  I like to do Science. Not technology, although I like technology as well. But really, what is technology if not the handmaiden that Science made in Her image?



 I do  think the world is a complicated place, but all that means is that I'm not going to run out of work anytime soon :) 

 

History:

1974-1981: A blur

1981-1990: School. Blurry.

1991-1992: More school, angst, blurry.

1992-1995: B.Sc. Microbiology, Pune, quit a diploma in computers 1 exam before finishing. (Less blurry)

1995-1999: M.S. Biological Sciences, IISc, Bangalore. Integrated Ph.D. in Molecular Biology: Quit. Ph.D. in Ecology: Quit.

 1999-2007: Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience from the SISSA, Italy. Finished!.

2007-present: Post-doc at the Brain & Cognitive Science Dept., University of Rochester.

 

 

 Sociology:

Veteran pub-crawler, don't so much read as cram, devour or otherwise relish books. I consider that the Master of the English language (and so, arguably of any language ever) was P.G. Wodehouse.
