The M-word

Don't go there. Really. Think of it this way. It is like asking thePope if he would like  to convert to Islam.

What I do

Cognitive Neuroscience in general. This is something like psychology. Here is a description from Wikipedia of Cogntive Psychology, which is very closely related. Cognitive Neuroscience cares about how the mind works and how it relates  to the brain. Actually I don't care about the brain.

 Update: I finished writing my Ph.D. thesis, which looks at models of how babies learn language, and got my Ph.D. in Cognitive Neurosciences (cum laude) in November-end, 2006 .

I lived in Trieste for nearly 8 years and my Ph.D. is from the lab of Jacques Mehler, a famous Cognitive scientist, now at the SISSA, Trieste, which is one of the best institutes in this part of the world.  

Currently I am a postdoc in the lab of Richard Aslin at the Brain & Cognitive Science department, Univ. of Rochester.
